The wDALI-2 Bluetooth 5 wireless bridge makes it possible to wirelessly link spatially separated DALI lines over an extra-long range, thus ensuring seamless integration and control of your lighting Systems.

The extra-long range of the wireless connection is up to 1 km in open areas and 100 to 500 metres in buildings, depending on the construction. If even shorter ranges are sufficient for you, the "little brother", the wDALI-2 wireless Bridge, can be found under similar articles.

The system is ideal for applications where DALI control is to be realised without having to lay long cables for the DALI bus, e.g. sports field lighting, garden lighting, garage doors, etc. The control of individual devices and the querying of error states (e.g. lamp errors) is supported. Compared to other radio systems, this system offers the advantage of being able to achieve a greater range even in buildings. Remote areas can therefore be easily connected. Additional radio repeaters or mesh extensions are not required.

The bidirectional radio connection makes it possible to control and query devices in main and sub-DALI lines. The wireless connection is easily configured using the user-friendly DALI Cockpit PC software. The device that is connected to the DALI Cockpit can be set to master mode and searches for all other modules (slaves) within its range via radio. The slaves can then be assigned to the master via the Cockpit. Once assigned, DALI devices in the slave DALI lines can be addressed and configured via the wDALI-2 wireless bridge that has been set up.

The wDALI-2 wireless bridge offers flexible operating modes that allow you to act as either master or slave. A master device can easily establish connections to multiple slaves (up to 20), allowing you to connect and control multiple DALI subcircuits.

Version with DALI bus supply (art. no. 86452785-PS) provides 20mA for up to 10 standard DALI operating devices.
