With K-ZWALLY you get a versatile controller that can control direct and indirect light components separately. In addition to the ON / OFF or standby switching of lights, their brightness, color temperature and color sequence can also be continuously regulated. Furthermore, the K-ZWALLY is able to set up and reset a network and can therefore be used flexibly. Another highlight is the Human Centric Lighting (HCL) mode of the K-ZWALLY, which brings about an automatic daylight Course.

Residential (living area):

Kiteo's Residential function has been specially developed for use in private living spaces such as flats and houses. These solutions take into account the individual needs and requirements of living spaces where comfort, aesthetics and a pleasant atmosphere take centre stage. The targeted combination of suitable lighting and optimised acoustic solutions makes living spaces not only functional, but also cosy and inviting. The main aim is to create a pleasant living experience that reflects the personal style and preferences of the residents.

A special feature of the residential solution is the adaptation of lighting conditions to seasonal changes. In winter, for example, the light is set to a maximum of 11,160 K for indirect lighting and a maximum of 5,580 K for direct lighting. In addition, the light is reduced to 1,800 K between 6.45 pm and 5.15 am. In summer, the values are correspondingly higher, with a maximum of 12,990 K indirect and 6,495 K direct, with a reduction to 1,800 K between 21:30 and 02:30. The exact light curves in spring and autumn can be found in the respective data sheet to ensure perfect adaptation to the seasons.

The new ‘Residential’ Wally from Kiteo also offers a special night-time dimming function. When the light controlled by the Wally is switched on between 23:30 and 05:00, a dimming level of 5% at a warm colour temperature of 1,800 K is automatically set. This function applies both when the light is activated directly via the Wally and when the light and Wally are switched on together via an external switch. This ensures a particularly pleasant and calming lighting mood for the night, which promotes sleep and general well-being.

Workplace:

Kiteo's Workplace function is specially designed for use in working environments such as offices, conference rooms or other rooms used for professional purposes. It takes into account the special requirements for functionality, ergonomics and efficiency that play a central role in professional workspaces. The aim of these solutions is to promote productivity, concentration and the general well-being of employees.

The ‘Workplace’ profile offers precise control of the colour temperature, which is adjusted separately for the direct and indirect light component depending on the respective lighting element. The maximum colour temperature reaches up to 12,050 K for indirect lighting and up to 6,025 K for direct lighting.

The Workplace profile also includes a special adjustment of the colour temperature during the evening and night hours. From 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., the colour temperature is automatically lowered to 2,500 K to create a more pleasant and less stressful lighting environment that supports the natural rhythm of employees and promotes a healthy working environment. This function helps to prevent fatigue while maintaining a productive atmosphere even in the late Hours.

As part of the HCL mode, the K-ZWALLY can simulate different daylight sequences, with versions for workplace and residential applications available. These reflect the standard course at the workplace or the seasonal course depending on the time of year - including night reduction.
