The German company GOSSEN stands for high quality and a convincing precision due to a long-standing experience. With the MAVOLUX-5032C Base a luxmeter was developed which is a cheap measuring instrument but works very precise.
The absolutely reliable measuring values of daylight and even artificial light like LED, come about due to an extremely high-quality V(?)-adjustment and a fine adjusted cosine correction. The V(?)-adjustment works due to a color correction of the silicon-photodiode, whose spectral sensitivity is similar to the light sensitivity of the human eye.

The wide measuring range of the Mavolux-5032C Base, with a high starting sensitivity and resolution of 0,1 lx resp. 0,01 lc up to a very high illumination level of 199900 lx resp. 19990 lc, makes a perfect use - even under extrem conditions - possible.
