Luminance meters - what does that mean?
It is not important for the human eye how much an object is illuminated, but how much light is reflected back to the eye. For luminance measurement, special luminance measuring devices are used, or special luminance attachments are placed on the lux meters that only let light through at a small angle.
Application areas
The MAVOMONITOR with the add-on probe is used for add-on measurements on self-illuminating or irradiated surfaces, e.g. Monitors (CRT / LCD backlighting), television screens, light desks, light trays, neon signs, traffic signs and matt windows. The MAVOSPOT can be used for distance measurement for distant objects.
