Quickly noticed. There are huge differences in quality. And service life figures were advertised that are hardly technically feasible. > 50,000 hours
That has now improved. At least renowned and reputable manufacturers are now keeping it realistic.
Now who is reputable? Difficult to recognize for most consumers.

We as LEDclusive.de (LED + exclusive) have made it our mission to separate the wheat from the chaff. We quickly saw. The Austrian company LEDON and an offshoot of the renowned Zumtobel company is one of them.
So it was clear. LEDON's products belong in our portfolio.
And we had a good collaboration for many years.
But LEDON and we also recognized: "Stinginess is cool" and only a few customers understood: "cheap buy, buy twice". Unfortunately, that is the majority of customers.
Our proven manufacturer has therefore reoriented itself and prefers to only offer lights. And this is now after a merger with Bilton under the name Bilton LEDON Technology.
What now with the remaining stocks of lamps. Yes, of course still selling.
But since these lamps now require a new energy efficiency label due to a change in the law, and this administrative effort is disproportionate, the tried and tested lamps are no longer allowed to be offered and sold.
Result --> Good things go in the trash can. Thank you dear EU Commission.
