The large number of technical data and the resulting large selection of LED strips often leads to a desperate and sometimes unsuccessful search. This article should help you to find the right LED strip.

Which parameters are required for the selection of LED strips?

The application determines whether a bright LED strip is used to illuminate a room or only as decoration / ambient lighting.
The power / meter or the luminous flux / m is the decisive value here.
The operating voltage available is 12V or more often 24V (in exceptional cases with long lengths 36V).
The color temperature (warm white / cool white) or with color changes RGB / RGBW.
If you want as uniform a light as possible, you choose strips with a high number of LEDs / meter.
