Illuxtron Fluxe 75 HV (High Voltage) Downlight
The Fluxe downlights fall under the first luminaires from Illuxtron. Over the years the series was expanded and grew with new technologies and now consists of 5 luminaires with different hole sizes and specifications. The Fluxe 75 recessed downlights from Illuxtron are real powerhouses!
Compact, technologically innovative and economical. So powerful in light output that they are also available in other versions!
Version | Power range | Beam angle | Special feature |
HV-FD (High Voltage - Flimmerfree Dimmtechnology) This Version | 10,1-10,3 W | 40° / 80° | directly connectable to 220-240V |
HV-WD This Version | 11,2 W | 80° | directly connectable to 220-240V, Power factor (>90) |
LV (Low Voltage) | 13,8 W | 24° / 60° / 80° | CRI-97 Standard, inc. PSU |
LV-TW (Low Voltage- Tuneable White) | 11,4 W | 60° / 80° | Tuneable White Technology |
These recessed spotlights are available in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K. What makes these little powerhouses so special are the reflectors with micro facets. These micro facets of the Fluxe 75 series provide perfect illumination of objects and rooms and were developed by the leading Bartenbach Institute for Illuxtron and result in the following remarkable advantages:
Special features of these so-called Dark Light - reflectors
- High luminous efficacy thanks to the very good reflectivity of micro-facet technology
- Low glare values (UGR index) by avoiding unnecessary stray light
- Ideal light mixing of the LED light spectra for very good colour rendering
Further details of these technical features can be found in the Illuxtron Mini recessed luminaire overview.

Fluxe 75 High voltage flicker-free dimming technology (HV-FD)
Flicker-free - no stroboscopic effect
Studies associate flickering light with health problems. Although flickering at this frequency is not visible without aids, there is evidence that the human brain can perceive flickering up to 200Hz. Possible problems include headaches, eye strain, impaired vision or, in extreme cases, epileptic seizures. The highest quality power supplies have a flicker content of 1-3%, while high-voltage technology has a flicker content of only 0.4%.
Flicker-free - Patented dimming up to 0,1%
The level of dimming depends on the quality of the dimmer. With a high quality dimmer a dimming range of 0.1-100% can be covered. Even at the lowest dimming level, this technology always stays below 2.4% flicker.
Perfect for video recording
Flicker effects should be taken into account when recording video, otherwise the images will be traversed by several black lines, which makes reasonable filming impossible.

- Hole diameter - We recommend selecting the spots first, then drilling the holes. Otherwise the limitation is predetermined Output
- Light output in lumens, or wattage. How much light is needed in the room. There is no general answer to this question. Use the following link for the project enquiry
- Installation depth - usually a mandatory requirement in terms of drill hole depth or distance from suspended ceiling.
- Color temperature dimmability - We recommend modern options such as DALI or Casambi.
- Beam angle - For uniform room illumination. Usually determined by the distribution of the spots in the room and the room height.
- Fastening - Installation in false ceiling or concrete ceiling Glare - Depending on the viewing angle, lower LEDs in the spotlight can often no longer be perceived as a bright point of light, thus ensuring pleasant lighting.
