Product information "Flir compact thermal imaging systems"
Flir compact pocket-sized thermal cameras
Flir C3-X (replacement for Flir C3/C2) and Flir C5
The compact thermal imaging cameras and 3in1 devices (thermal imaging camera, digital camera, torch) from Flir in a handy pocket size help you to localise energy losses, damaged pipes, air leaks, structural defects and previously undetected problems in buildings as early as possible. With these two devices, you get the perfect thermal camera for construction professionals and experts.
With all Flir devices, you can upload your images directly to the FLIR Ignite™ Cloud, where you can organise and back up your files. Share the images instantly with your customers or create professional Reports
See behind plastic, wood, screed, walls and concrete! Equipped with a highly sensitive detector, the cameras recognise the finest heat structures and minimal temperature differences.
The compact devices with patented MSX contrast enhancement and integrated daylight camera,
produce razor-sharp thermal images that show contours, edges and labelling. With MSX, you can quickly detect hidden faults and reduce diagnostic times.
The C3-X and C5 are certified to protection class IP54 and are therefore resistant to the ingress of dust and water as well as a drop from a height of 2 metres. This means that the pocket-sized C3-X and C5 are ready for any Task.
Flir C3-X or C5 - the differences:
The thermal imaging camera C3-X has a resolution of 128 × 96 (12,288 pixels) and has an extended temperature range of -20 to 300 °C (-4 to 572 °F) - a significant improvement over the original FLIR C2.
The FLIR C5 has the same features as the C3-X, but includes a more powerful thermal imaging camera with a resolution of 160 x 120 (19,200 pixels). The higher resolution gives you more detail, allowing the camera to detect smaller temperature differences and provide a more accurate temperature measurement. In addition, the C5 has zoom functions, 1-touch level/span for improved scene contrast and an even better temperature range of -20 to 400 °C (-4 to 752 °F).
If you don't rely too heavily on thermal imaging for your inspections, but still value thermal imaging as a useful tool, the affordable FLIR C3-X is the right solution.
