Enertex KNX HV Dimmer 2000W/8x is a powerful 8-channel dimming actuator for DIN rail mounting (6 TE) that supports up to 250 W per channel at an operating voltage of 230 VAC.

This KNX HV dimmer is ideal for LED lights, HV halogen lamps and LV halogen lamps with transformer/EVG. This dimmer offers leading edge and trailing edge phase control and ensures optimum dimming behaviour even with problematic LED lamps. The Enertex KNX HV Dimmer 2000 W/8x uses innovative dimming methods such as the light source correction method (LKV) and the low-light stabilisation method (SSV). These processes enable smooth dimming transitions and stable, flicker-free light at heavily dimmed brightness levels. In addition, selectable dimming curves offer the freedom to set the desired dimming behaviour.

The Enertex® KNX HV dimmer is characterised by very low losses per channel: Less than 0.2 W in standby mode and less than 2 W at full load. Each channel has an energy and electricity cost meter with precise active power measurement according to accuracy class A (2%). Commissioning and diagnostics are facilitated by a display and buttons on the device. Automatic functions such as load detection, light source measurement and a final self-diagnosis of the dimming capability of the light source ensure uncomplicated Installation.

The dimmer offers comprehensive protection functions against overload, overvoltage, short circuit and overtemperature and sends alarm messages if required. It also has parameterisable light source protection and enables parallel operation of up to 4 channels with a total output of 1000 W. The comprehensive application supports time-controlled dimming, sleep and wake-up light, staircase lighting function with switch-off warning, timers, scenes, bit scenes, blocking function and numerous logic functions.
