DALI RM8/RM16

DALI switching actuator RM8/RM16 DT7 Switching actuator

The versatile DALI or DALI-2 switch actuators RM8 and RM16 are available in different versions (designs for box installation, ceiling recessing and top hat rail mounting) and are ideal for the direct control of 230V AC loads via DALI.

This DT7 switching actuator provides a relay contact that can be controlled via the DALI bus and can be used to switch continuous loads of up to 2 kW. The DALI-2 RM16 is particularly suitable for high inrush current peaks over 100A thanks to the integrated inrush current limiter.

A special feature of the DALI switch actuator RM8/16-DE/16-CEL is the maintenance of the relay switching status in the event of a bus supply failure. Switch-on delay and/or switch-off delay can be programmed via the DALI bus. Loads without a DALI input can thus be integrated into the DALI system; no additional supply is required. All versions can be easily configured via a Lunatone DALI interface and the DALI Cockpit software tool.

The new versions DALI-2 RM16 I HS and DALI-2 RM16 IS HS are suitable for extremely high inrush currents up to 350A. They also have a standby feature. The DALI-2 RM16 IS HS version also has a switch on the device for manual Control.
