CBU-DCS DALI Casambi Gateway and DALI Controller
Core functions:
- Integration of Casambi luminaires into a DALI network.
- Control DALI luminaires via broadcast via Casambi app
CBU-DCS supports DALI-2 input devices and can be connected to a DALI sensor for presence detection or daylight harvesting, or to a DALI pushbutton interface for manual control.
CBU-DCS can be connected to wired DALI controllers where it acts as a wireless DALI gateway into the Casambi mesh, either in DALI broadcast mode or for controlling individually addressed DALI devices. CBU-DCS is protected against overvoltage, overcurrent and short circuit.
The Casambi system can be controlled via smartphone or tablet using the Casambi app, which can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It can also be controlled using timers, Casambi-enabled sensors such as passive infrared (PIR) presence detectors and lux sensors, as well as Casambi Xpress and EnOcean switches. An external gateway module is not required.
In short: 19 different profiles can be loaded into the CBU-DCS via the Casambi app. Profiles can be loaded. Thus, it offers a wide range of application possibilities.
Popularly used are these functions of the DALI Casambi Gateway:
- DALI Gateway allows Casambi luminaires or devices to be transparently integrated into the DALI network and controlled via it.
--> Select profile CBU-DCS-DALI, connect CBU-DCS to DALI bus, connect all luminaires incl. CBU-DCS into the same Casambi network. Final then search for new devices via DALI. The Casambi luminaires are then shown as virtual DALI addresses in the DALI network and can be controlled via them, identically to hardwired ones.
- DALI Broadcast enables commands sent via Casambifunk to be sent to all DALI addresses.
--> Select profile CBU-DCS-Broadcast, connect CBU-DCS to DALI bus, and after establishing a connection via Casambi all luminaires connected to the DALI bus can be controlled via broadcast.
